This summer heavy rains brought flooding throughout most of Missouri leaving the familiar waters blown out and unfishable. With rivers and streams high, I left my 5wt at home and I set out to target bass, buffalo, carp, gar, or anything else that would take a fly. While there were plenty of days I came home skunked, I found so many new and exciting places to fish in Missouri. This summer has been amazing and I've learned to embrace warmwater fly fishing. This video also includes a few shots from my trip to D.C. fishing with Rob Snowwhite (robsnowhite.com) on the Occoquan RiverFly fishing in Missouri has rarely looked as good as it does in this video, and there’s a little bit of East Coast action thrown in for good measure.
