  1. I have two Sling Packs – the original and the Guide pack.
    They are terrific, EXCEPT that mine did not come with the velcro fly patches.
    The only negative I have on the use of the slings is that – to me -the nippers is located in an inconvenient location. I use my right hand to snip any leader or tippet material. If the nippers/magnet was on the other side of the pack, it would be much easier to access.

  2. I just got the Guide Sling and love it! It almost seems too big, but I’m sure I’ll find more stuff to keep in it. I tend to keep a pack loaded for last minute, grab-and-go fishing and this fits the bill perfectly. Now I need an H2 to go with it!

  3. Just changed over to a sling pack for this season for a change of pace from my old and very beaten vest.
