For less than $10, you can make a bunch of these things and gain control over unruly materials. Here are the materials you'll need:
   —1/4-inch Soft Stretch Elastic braid.
   —Clear plastic tubing, 3/16 outside diameter and 1/8 inside diameter.
   —1/4-inch heat-shrink tubing.
   Tools: Scissors, ruler, bodkin, candle, hot-glue gun, xtra-fine Sharpie.
