A little bit of footage I shot myself in a stunning valley in the Nelson region. It had been a busy season and a well earned break was due so I packed up the car and took off to this little piece of heaven. It certainly wasn't the size of the fish or the numbers that day... it was the simply being there that meant the most!
New Zealand is lucky to have an abundance of rivers like this. We need to take care of these special places... take only photographs and leave only footprints. We are one of the last untouched fly fishing frontiers on the planet and that is something worth protecting. One cast, and one beautiful brown trout taken from a stream in the Nelson region of New Zealand, on the northern tip of the South Island.
